Settings

Settings dialog includes the following system settings:

 

When MultiTool Creator is opened for the first time, CODESYS related directory paths need to be given. If CODESYS was installed with default directory settings (see the table below), Use Default Settings can be selected. Otherwise, set the directories manually by selecting Customize Settings... .

 

To open the Settings dialog, select File > Settings or press ALT + X. To select the default settings, select Reset to Defaults.

User PDIs directories

Directories containing user defined .pdi / .xpdi files (Predefined Indexes). A network shared directory location can also be used for shared PDI contents. See also Creating PDIs.

User PGNs directories

Directories for user defined, custom PGNs shown on the J1939 tab (see User_PGN_Sets. The first directory is used as default location. A network shared directory location can also be used for shared PGN contents.

Restart MultiTool Creator to enable changed directories.

User NMEA 2000 PGNs directories

Directories for user defined, custom PGNs shown on the NMEA 2000 tab (see User PGN Sets). The first directory is used as default location. A network shared directory location can also be used for shared PGN contents.
