Epec 6112 Display Unit is a high-performance and rugged full-color capacitive touch screen display designed for mobile machinery. Epec 6000 product platform is fully compatible to the existing Epec product portfolio. Some of the advances of the Epec  6112 Display Unit are listed below.

  • The shape of the casing works to protect the electronics inside against mechanical wear

  • Mounting can be done with a display pedestal or as a panel mounting

  • Each connector is mechanically keyed to fit only to the correct, corresponding place

Application programming

  • Epec products are based on PLCopen and CANopenĀ®, which make them easily scalable to meet requirements for both small and large machines

  • Open I/O and communication interface, thus making it possible to connect

    • sensors,

    • actuators,

    • joysticks, and

    • other devices

from other manufacturers to optimize the whole machine environment, both technically and ergonomically.

  • Internal diagnostics which makes it possible to

    • detect e.g. overvoltage and overtemperature alarms and

    • program customized log applications
