Machine types feature

A new feature has been added to MTC to support several machine types in one MTC project. Different settings can be made for the same unit in different machine types:

  • I/O
  • CAN buses
  • etc

Support for CANopen responders in MTS

MultiTool simulator now supports CANopen responders

  • Epec CANopen responders (GL84 and GC44)
  • 3rd party CANopen responders

Warnings shown in network editor

If there are warnings or errors in configurations in MTC, they are now shown in network editor. Tooltip in network editor describes the warning and points to the right place to correct it. Warnings can be for example:

  • Duplicate COBIDs
  • Duplicate variable names
  • Missing NMT master in CANopen network
  • etc.

Various smaller changes

  • Bugfix: J1939 events not working correctly when J1939 connected to a 6000 series device
  • Bugfix: Duplicate node id error not reset when error is fixed
  • Bugfix: Memory leak in Edge library
  • Bugfix: Wrong order of bits in variables bigger than 8 bits in VCU
  • Bugfix: GL84 PI pin reset channel prevented project from opening
  • Bugfix: Clonig a responder unit caused faults in TPDOs after reopening the project
  • Bugfix: Unable to remove CAN buses from dummy unit after reopening the project
  • Bugfix: PDO number missing from responders RPDO view in MTC
  • Bugfix: J1939/NMEA2000 source address changed when reopening the project
  • Bugfix: Fixed errors in validations in several cases
